This privacy policy describes the processing of personal data about users and visitors (collectively, the "Users") of the website https://www.fonderiabattaglia.com (the "Site").
The data controller is Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, headquartered at 17 Via Oslavia, Milan (MI), VAT and tax identification number 12506050157 (hereinafter "Fonderia Artistica Battaglia" or the "Owner"), which acts as a partner in the Fonderia Artistica Battaglia Project.
2.1 Personal data provided by Users

These personal data are collected through the Site and are provided by Users through any communications or e-mails sent directly to the Owner, by means of the contact details made available within the "Newsletter" sections and/or other sections related to events, meetings, conventions, activities, products or services of Fonderia Artistica Battaglia.
The content of communications received, including any personal data contained therein, will be processed to answer any questions and follow up on requests received.
Users are encouraged to provide Fonderia Artistica Battaglia with up-to-date and relevant data, limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is shared.
2.2 Browsing data and cookies
The Owner may collect personal data from Users of the Site in the following ways:
The personal data acquired through browsing are, in particular, information related to the devices with which Users connect to the Site, IP address, log data, information about the browser used by the User, pages visited, date, time and duration of each visit, as well as other parameters related to the User's operating system and computer environment etc. (the "Browsing Data").
The personal data acquired by cookies are those strictly necessary to achieve the purposes set out in the cookie policy in the link indicated in roman (ii) above (the "Data from Cookies").
Personal Data provided by Users and Browsing and Cookie Data (hereafter, jointly the "Data") will be processed for the following purposes:
3.1 Follow up on User requests
The Data will be processed in order to respond and follow up on requests that Users send to Fonderia Artistica Battaglia through the email address and contact details within the various sections of the Site.
The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
This legitimate interest has been duly balanced against the reasonable expectations of the data subjects and, since it does not affect the rights of the data subjects involved and the processing of the Data is carried out at the request of the User, it has been deemed to prevail.
The provision of Data for the above purposes is necessary for the proper handling and execution of the User's requests. Any partial or total refusal to provide Data for these purposes will result in the impossibility for the Data Controller to fulfill these requests.
3.2 Subscription to the newsletter service
The Data provided by Users are processed for the sole purpose of sending Fonderia Artistica Battaglia's newsletter and to allow them to benefit from this service and to receive commercial offers, promotions and informative communications about Fonderia Artistica Battaglia's services, including any invitations to events and/or meetings organized and/or otherwise sponsored by Fonderia Artistica Battaglia also in collaboration with third parties.
Such processing finds its legal basis in the consent of the data subject.
Users may revoke the consent given and cancel their subscription to the newsletter service at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe/unsubscribe" link, entering their e-mail address in the form on the page and clicking on the "Unsubscribe/unsubscribe" button. Alternatively, Users may send a specific communication to the Data Controller, at the contact details given in the "Rights of Data Subjects" section, expressing their desire to unsubscribe from the newsletter service and to cancel the data held by the Data Controller. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing that has already taken place.
The provision of Data is optional. Refusal to provide Data will result in the inability to use the newsletter service.
3.3 Event registration and follow-up communications
Data collected (first and last name, email address) through filling out the event registration form on the Site or on third-party online platforms (e.g. Artshell's), will be processed for the User's participation in the requested event and the receipt of any follow-up related to it.
Events may be organized and/or sponsored by Fonderia Artistica Battaglia and run jointly with other partners, and also in collaboration with third parties.
In this context, the Data may be communicated to the network of partners of the event and to the subjects, public and private, involved in the related organizational and management activities of the event and/or suppliers of accessory and necessary services for the realization of the event (e.g. speakers, hostesses, communication companies in charge of sending service communications about the events): these subjects will process the Data, as the case may be, as autonomous owners, or as data processors by virtue of specific written assignment given to them by Fonderia Artistica Battaglia. The provision of Data is necessary to finalize the registration to the event: therefore, in case of refusal or failure to provide the requested Data, it will not be possible to take part in the event.
The legal bases of the present processing operations are the need to execute pre-contractual and contractual measures adopted at the request of the User, to fulfill the related legal obligations, as well as, with reference to the sending of event-related follow-ups, the legitimate interest of Fonderia Artistica Battaglia in promoting its expertise in proposing events and projects similar to those in which the User has participated. Fonderia Artistica Battaglia's legitimate interest appears to be compatible with the reasonable expectation of Users in that it is foreseeable to believe that they are interested in remaining informed about the latest news and activities of Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, as well as of subjects related to those covered during the event to which they have requested registration and subsequent participation.
3.4 Proper operation and maintenance of the Site
The Data will also be processed in order to monitor the proper functioning of the Site and to allow the Data Controller to make changes and improvements to it, as well as to resolve any malfunctions.
The provision of Data is done automatically by connecting to the Site and any partial or total refusal to provide Data for such purposes will result in the inability of the Data Controller to properly manage the operation and maintenance of the Site.
3.5 Exercising the rights of Fonderia Artistica Battaglia (judicial protection)
The Data will be processed specifically to enable the Data Controller to protect its rights and interests in and out of court in cases where unlawful activities are carried out on and/or through the Site. The legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the protection of its rights; a legitimate interest that does not violate or prejudice the rights and freedoms of the Data Subjects as the processing is necessary for the exercise of the constitutionally guaranteed right of defense.
The provision of Data for this purpose is necessary to enable the Owner to defend itself in court.
Data will be processed by manual and computerized means and will be disclosed and may be known (i) by employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, duly instructed and designated for processing and to whom Fonderia Artistica Battaglia has given detailed instructions, with particular regard to the implementation of suitable technical and organizational security measures; (ii) by third parties who, as the case may be, will act as duly appointed data controllers or data processors, and who provide services ancillary or instrumental to the activities of the Controller, in connection, for example, with the development, provision and operational maintenance of the Site.

The Data collected and processed by Fonderia Artistica Battaglia, for the purpose mentioned in point 3 above, may be kept for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing and, in particular:
Purpose 3.4: In the case of processing of Data for the proper maintenance and operation of the Site, the Data will be retained as long as it is necessary to resolve any bugs and malfunctions of the Site, as well as for as long as required by the legal regulations with which Fonderia Artistica Battaglia must comply.The Data Controller will not make any transfers outside the European Union; Data will be processed at the Data Controller's premises and Data will be stored at servers and/or archives both within the European Union and, where applicable, in third countries in respect of which an adequacy decision has been adopted by the European Commission and which therefore provide adequate guarantees for the protection of personal data.

Finally, data subjects always have the right to revoke their consent at any time (this, in any case, will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent given before revocation) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy: the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).

This privacy policy relating to the processing of personal data relates exclusively to Data collected through the Site and with reference to the purposes identified in paragraph 3 and, therefore, is not and will not be deemed applicable to other websites consulted and/or consultable through links and/or widgets (e.g. social networks): these additional websites will process any Data collected as autonomous data controllers and in accordance with their respective privacy policies, the consultation of which by Users is expressly recommended.
