  1. What is a cookie

Cookies are small text strings that sites visited by the user send to the user's own terminal browser, where they are stored and then transmitted back to the same sites on the next visit by the same user. In the course of browsing a site, the user may receive on his terminal "first-party" cookies, when they are managed directly by the owner and/or operator of the site, and also cookies that are sent from different sites or web servers (so-called "third-party" cookies ); this happens because on the website visited there may be elements that reside on servers other than the one on which the website is located. In other words, they are those cookies that are set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting. Cookies can be distinguished into three different types:

  • Technical cookies: used for the sole purpose of enabling the site to function properly;
  • Analytical cookies: used to collect aggregate information of mainly statistical nature;
  • Profiling cookies: aimed at creating profiles related to the user and used for the purpose of sending advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the web.

  1. What cookies are used and for what purpose

It should be noted that the Site also uses the following third-party analytical cookies in order to analyze users' browsing and to produce statistics on visits or to improve the content offering on web pages. These cookies, since the IP address is not in plain text, are equated with technical cookies and therefore do not require the user's consent:

Purpose: To monitor website traffic.

In case you decide to disable technical and analytical cookies, you will not have access to many features that make this Site more efficient and some of our services will not work properly.It remains entirely optional to give consent to the installation of first and third-party profiling cookies. 1. Options regarding the use of cookies

You can control cookies through the settings of the browser you use.
