In the frame of the first Fonderia Artistica Battaglia’s Open Studio Residency Program under the Artistic direction of CURA. Swiss and New York based artist YVES SCHERER (b. 1987) presents his brand new sculpture "Boy". The residency has resulted in an original evolution of Scherer’s research around the archetypes of masculinity and childhood, in a work that combines technology, mechanics and the ancient technique of lost wax bronze.
