Marta Pierobon

Marta Pierobon (Brescia, 1979) lives and works in Milan.

He graduated in fine arts in 2006 from the Academy of Florence. She worked as an assistant to Urs Fisher and Anna Galtarossa in 2006/07, she was co-founder of Spazio Morris in Milan.
Between 2007 and 2017 her work has been exhibited in various research spaces and institutions including: Edicola Radetzky (Milan) Duet Space (St. Louis, USA), LaTriennale di Milano (Milan), Espirit Nouveau of Bologna, Localedue (Bologna), Viafarini (Milan), Soloway (New York), Welcome to New York at Art in general (New York), Neon fdv (Milan), Museum of Santa Giulia (Brescia); and in various galleries including: Kate Macgarry (London), Marian Boesky (New York), Plutschow Gallery (Zurich), 78 Lyndhurst way (London) and A Palazzo Gallery (Brescia), from which gallery is represented from 2010.
In 2012 she won the first edition of the Lombardia award at Miart, in the same year she was selected by Ilaria Bonaccossa to participate in the Cairo Award.
She participates in various residences including: LMCC (New York) and CARS (Omegna).
Her work has been reviewed by various magazines including: Flash Art, Espoarte, Il Corriere della Sera and artecritica, art * text * pics *, Art Blog Art Blog and Fruit of the Forest.
Her work is currently represented by A Palazzo Gallery (Brescia) and by Plutschow Gallery (Zurich).
