Giorgio Andreotta Calò

Venice, 1979. Lives and works between Venice and Amsterdam.
In 2011 his work was presented at "ILLUMInazioni / ILLUMInations", 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, directed by Bice Curiger. Among his most recent personal exhibitions "5122.65", Depart Foundation, Los Angeles, 2016; "The sculpture dead language", Sprovieri, London, 2015; "The promises of art", Institut culturel italien, Paris, 2014.
He has participated in several collective exhibitions, including "Other times, other myths", 16th Art Quadrennial, Rome, 2016; "Wanderlust", curated by Cecilia Alemani, High Line Art, New York, 2016; «Ennesima», edited by Vincenzo de Bellis, Triennale di Milano, 2015.
In 2014 he won the New York Award. In 2012 he won the Italy Contemporary Art Award, promoted by the MAXXI in Rome.
